On the 28th February 2004 Sammy got home from work and cracked open a bottle of Stella. Jymi was a matter of minutes behind and did the same once home.
Sammy threw out the words, “what a beer this is, 9 out of 10 EASILY”…
Jymi retorted with an “ooof, nine almost seems harsh man, has to be ten surely”?!
Nine months and 77 beers later THE BOOK ON BEERS had been written (in a scabby A5 exercise book).
Since then having lost hair but gained beard, the two started to focus their attentions towards ale and began testing once more…..
